Captain Rojelio Galabeas. Commanding Officer of the Laredo region.

This Saturday June 13th, the City of El Cenizo, The Salvation Army and Latin American Lutheran Mission began a joint effort to provide warm meals to 100 children.

Mayor Elsa Degollado coordinates the signup sheets during the week, now amassing a growing number of children on waiting lists. Mayor also led the organization of the drive through line keeping the order.

Captain Galabeas’ team prepared the meals and brought them for distribution at 10:00am

We hope this pilot program can grow to aid more families during this time of calamity.

We thank donors, mission partners, churches, individuals and public entities that make these efforts possible.
